Whitewater rafting in Dinosaur National Monument is a spectacular natural wonder. With unique geology, Indian art and dinosaur fossils this is a wonderful destination on any Western United States tour.
Adrift Adventures explores Split Mountain Gorge by raft each day throughout the summer. Trips depart at 9:00AM daily and are limited to 25 people. Our office in Jensen, Utah is at the turn into Dinosaur National Monument and the dinosaur quarry.
Traveling to the river, groups stop to view and learn about ancient Indian rock art. On the river, this section offers unique geology and rises hundreds of feet above the river. Class I-III rapids are scattered throughout the trip. Half way through the canyon we will find a sandy beach where your guides will prepare a riverside lunch. More rapids and exploration fill the second half of your trip. A short drive back to Adrift Adventures and you are back at your vehicle by 4:00PM.
