Experience Utah rafting at its best on a one-day adventure through Split Mountain Gorge on the Green River. Visit the land of dinosaurs, wild geologic folding and colorful canyon history in Dinosaur National Monument. Challenge class III rapids like Moonshine, S.O.B., Schoolboy and Englesby first encountered and named by famous explorer John Wesley Powell.
Paddle or Row?
Trips are usually run in paddle rafts, but oar boats can be requested. Both options hold five to seven people plus a guide, the difference being that everyone must paddle in a paddle raft and everyone can hold on in an oar boat. Families with young children or people who are not reasonably active should consider an oar boat.
Raft Split Mountain Gorge on the Green River
Adrift Adventures explores Split Mountain Gorge by raft each day throughout the summer. Trips depart at 9:00 am and are limited to 25 people. Traveling to the river groups stop to view and learn about ancient Native American rock art. On the river this section offers unique geology and multiple class III rapids. Half way through the canyon the trip stops at a sandy beach where the guides prepare burritos for lunch. More rapids and exploration fill the second half of the trip and approximate return time is 4:00 pm.

- Participants must be at least six years old and 50 pounds
- All participants or parent/guardians must sign a waiver and release form
- Each launch date is limited to 25 people by the National Park Service
