Four-day Gates of Lodore Green River overnight rafting trips with Adrift Adventures cover 44 river miles in the heart of Dinosaur National Monument. Start rafting at Gates of Lodore in Colorado and end at Split Mountain Campground in Utah.

Explore this remote, pristine wilderness and find a place of colorful history, spectacular scenery, unique wildlife and fun whitewater. Since the area is roadless, we bring all food and gear on the rafts to undeveloped camps each night. Transportation is provided from the shop in Jensen, Utah to the start of the river trip, and then from Split Mountain back to Adrift Adventures. Professional guides and all boating related equipment are provided, this includes one watertight duffle bag per person.

All meals from first day to last day lunch are included. No previous rafting experience is required. Minimum age and weight is 6 years old and 50 pounds.

Gates of Lodore launch dates are assigned by the National Park Service and limited to 25 people. An updated launch schedule is provided in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. 4-DAY GATES OF LODORE RAFING TRIP

Start your whitewater rafting adventure in the semi-forested mountain terrain of northwestern Colorado and end your trip in the classic desert canyon countrly of northeastern Utah – all within the boundaries of Dinosaur National Monument. Here the Green river has carved three spectacular gorges: Lodore Canyon, Whirlpool Canyon and Split Mountain Canyon. Follow part of John Wesley Powell’s route in his famous expedition of the Colorado River and its tributaries in 1869 and challenge the same rapids encountered and named by Powell himself.
