Adrift Adventures – Dinosaur National Monument All Inclusive Utah River Rafting Vacations
Adrift Adventures – Dinosaur National Monument
All Inclusive Rafting Vacations
Adrift Adventures has provided fully guided, all-inclusive white water rafting trips through Dinosaur National Monument since 1980. Choose from one-day white water excursions to four and five-day white water rafting expeditions.
Dinosaur National Monument is a place like no other. Although the park sees up to 300,000 visitors per year, most of its 210,000 acres of proposed wilderness seems untouched by man. This area of northeast Utah and northwest Colorado can reach nearly 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer months, which makes white water rafting one of the preferred methods to explore the Monument. An authorized professional river outfitter is the only way to raft through the park, unless you have a permit, your own rafting equipment and extensive white water experience.
One-Day White Water Rafting Trips
For a great introduction to rafting and the area of Dinosaur National Monument, Adrift Adventures offers daily white water rafting trips in Split Mountain Gorge every day throughout the summer. This one-day, nine-mile excursion on the Green River from Rainbow Park to Split Mountain Campground is filled with interpretive talks by your white water rafting guides and includes a hearty and informative riverside lunch, not to mention fun and splashy class III rapids.
Utah River Rafting Vacations
Adrift Adventures also offers more extensive trips through Dinosaur National Monument on the Green River or Yampa River. These all-inclusive, leave-no-trace rafting expeditions are four and five days in length.
On the Green River through Gates of Lodore, Adrift guests enjoy retracing the steps of former frontier explorer John Wesley Powell, with interpretive talks and hikes throughout the canyon.
The Yampa River is one of the last free-flowing rivers in the Colorado River system and meanders its way through an amazing canyon before meeting up with the Green River at the confluence of Echo Park on Day 4 of this 5-day voyage.
Meet in Jensen, Utah to Raft Dinosaur National Monument
Rafting guests meet at Adrift Adventures in Jensen, Utah at the entrance to Dinosaur National Monument. Trips depart daily throughout the summer and reservations are highly recommended as trips are limited to 25 passengers per day by the National Park Service.
By limiting the number of rafting guests and visitors allowed to the Monument each day, the National Park Service is preserving and controlling the impact humans have on the area, making Dinosaur National Monument one of the most unspoiled parks in North America.
Dinosaur Quarry Now Open
Rafting guests at Adrift Adventures along with general visitors to Dinosaur National Monument are able to now view the Dinosaur Quarry, just inside the Monument entrance in Jensen, Utah. The Quarry displays more than 1,500 dinosaur bones inside plus other historical exhibits covering the areas past and present.
Whether you seek adventure, history, scenery or science, allow Dinosaur National Monument and Adrift Adventures to complete your experience when traveling through northwest Colorado and northeast Utah. A place like no other.
