THIS POSITION IS CLOSED FOR THE 2012 RAFTING SEASON.

Experienced raft guides must complete training and qualification runs with a River Runners instructor. Successful raft guide applicants will run Browns Canyon (Class III-IV) primarily, but will have opportunities to train and qualify to run trips on The Numbers (class IV-V) and Pine Creek (class V).

Experienced in-state applicants will be required to provide a training log from an accredited Colorado company. Out-of-state applicants will be required to submit a training log from an accredited company and complete the out-of-state guide minimum qualification form. All commercial raft guides in Colorado are required to have a current First Aid and CPR certification by an accredited institution (online courses are not accepted). Swift Water Rescue (SWR), Wilderness First Responder (WFR), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and/or other advanced training is preferred.
