There are more than 50 white water rafting companies on the Arkansas River alone, so it is important to choose a Colorado white water rafting company you can trust. Minimum training for a first-year guide at River Runners is double that required by Colorado State Parks and many of our staff are Emergency Medical Technicians or Wilderness First Responders. River Runners guides are well-versed in all aspects of river rescue and have trained on how to work together in crisis management situations. We use only the most modern equipment and have a fleet of more than seventy self-bailing rafts available. All of our guests are provided with regularly inspected U.S. Coast Guard approved type V personal flotation devices (pfd) and helmets for your safety while rafting on the Arkansas River. Wetsuits, neoprene booties and splash tops are also available for your added comfort.
