Raft guide and other summer job openings
River Runners and Adrift Adventures operates out of three unique locations – two on the Upper Arkansas River in central Colorado (River Runners), and one near the confluence of the Green and Yampa Rivers in northeast Utah (Adrift Adventures). There are a limited number of seasonal positions available at each location. Season lengths vary, but are generally mid May through mid to late August. Thirteen miles east of Vernal, Utah
Located near the confluence of the Green Rivr and Yampa River in northeast Utah, Adrift Adventures operates one-day, four-day and five-day wilderness river trips through Dinosaur National Monument. Learn about the spectacular geaology, unique history, and challenging rapids found on these classic western rivers and follow in the footsteps of dinosaurs, Native Americans and famous explorers like John Wesley Powell. The season is generally mid-May through the end of August.

Raft guide jobs in Buena Vista, Colorado.
Our headquarters, this facility is situated on the banks of the Arkansas River with a private launch site for Browns Canyon, commercial campground, volleyball court, and Riverside Bar & Grill. There are mostly daily, but some overnight rafting trips booked through this office. The season is generally Memorial Day weekend through the third week of August. Employees are eligible for camping on site, but it is restricted and space is limited. Nearby camping is available, but restricted.

Our downstream facility on the Arkansas River is located at the Royal Gorge Bridge turn off just minutes from the launch site for the Royal Gorge section. Due to the larger volume of water downstream, the Royal Gorge rafting season typically runs longer – starting in mid May and ending around the second week of September. The facility includes locker rooms and a sand volleyball court. Nearby camping is available, but restricted.
