Our Rafting Resort is a five-acre property located on the banks of the Arkansas River at the mouth of Browns Canyon.

Scout groups may utilize this resort as a base camp. There are many other recreational opportunities in the surrounding area.

We are River Runners the Whitewater Professionals. We have been taking people rafting commercially in since 1972. We have two convenient rafting locations in Colorado, our riverside rafting resort in Buena Vista and our Royal Gorge Rafting Center in Canon City.

We understand that it is difficult to organize a large group. We do it every day, but if your group would like to raft together as an event this summer I can offer you a 20% discount.

We raft every day on the Arkansas River May through September. We offer half day and full day trips. I would recommend Browns Canyon a great exciting trip for first time rafters or experienced river runners. You can even use our five-acre riverside resort as a base camp for your group. Here you can camp, fish, play beach volleyball and there are even hot showers.

We also have multi-day rafting trips which are all inclusive and where we camp remotely on the river. Our two and three day trips on the Arkansas River depart from Buena Vista, Colorado and we have four and five day trips through Dinosaur National Monument.

This property offers River Runners guests a unique opportunity compared to other Colorado Rafting companies. Our Browns Canyon rafting trip launches here from our private beach, avoiding the crowds from the other rafting companies found at the public put in.

Amenities and recreational opportunities at our rafting resort include: volleyball, horseshoes, fishing, swimming, group camping, hot showers, light snacks, souvenirs, and rafting photography.  

Situated beneath the 14,000 foot Collegiate peaks of the Continental Divide, the resort is in the center of many recreational opportunities.

Just five minutes away are two of Colorado's best hot springs. Raft with River Runners and you can get discounted entrance fees to soak in the beautiful hot springs after your rafting trip.

With an average of 330 days of sunshine a year, the chances are good you'll always have a great time on your Colorado vacation.
